Cost-effective, sustainable and responsible extraction routes
for recovering distinct critical metals and industrial minerals
as by-products from key European hard-rock lithium projects

Jasen Wijaya M.Sc. is a material engineer with the expertise of material process and non-ferrous metal recycling. He has been involved in a battery recycling project with the main focus of hydrometallurgy and his experience comprises the leaching treatment of the pyrolysed and flotated black mass and the solvent extraction for metal salts recovery including copper, cobalt, nickel, and manganese. He has some experiences further to design the recycling approach of the all solid-state batteries, which he has earned during his master study in RWTH Aachen and he has collected some experiences working in hydrometallurgical laboratory with leaching, ion exchange, and solvent extraction in MEAB Chemie Technik GmbH.
